Now You Try!
Frequency Tables
Seeing someone else do an example is great, but nothing can replace trying it yourself, getting your hands dirty and making mistakes!
So in class where you can ask questions of your peers and me try to make some frequency tables using the following data:
Twenty-five army inductees were given a blood test to determine their blood type. The data set is
A | B | B | AB | O |
O | O | B | AB | B |
B | B | O | A | O |
A | O | O | O | AB |
AB | A | O | B | A |
These data represent the record high temperatures in degrees Fahrenheit (°F) for each of the 50 states. Choose at least two different number of classes! For each note the class boundaries. (source: The World Almanac and Book of Facts)
